tiffany “omi” Pennick, President & ceo

Tiffany Omi Pennick, MPH is the founder of IWA Lifestyle, Corp and the CEO of Developing Solutions Consulting Agency, LLC. She is a native of St. Croix, United States Virgin Islands and a graduate of Xavier University of Louisiana. Prior to starting her journey as an entrepreneur in 2009, Omi, as she is affectionately called, worked in several capacities in the field of women’s and adolescent reproductive health with various private and non-profit entities including Emory University Rollins School of Public Health in Atlanta, Agenda for Children in New Orleans, and Messages of Empowerment Productions in Atlanta. She has helped to design, implement, and disseminate various Evidenced Based Interventions both nationally and internationally in Atlanta, Georgia, St. Marteen, Netherland Antilles, and in Cape Town and Durban, South Africa.

Omi has over 15 years of experience writing, attaining, and managing federal, state, and private foundation grants. She prides herself on working closely with the management and programmatic teams of organizations to have a full understanding of the program history and the strategy for building and sustaining programs past the life cycle of single grants. In addition to her writing skills, Omi has experience planning large fundraisers, conferences, community organizing, building individual donor bases, and leading strategic and succession planning for organizations. She is dedicated to building stronger and healthier communities by developing programs, organizations, and businesses that can sustain the harsh reality of our economic times. In 2016, DSCA launched a leadership and entrepreneurs institute for executives and community leaders who are interested in building and sustaining their businesses and organizations. Most recently, the company has also created a program for non-profit organizations called GRANTMASTERS that provides grant education and technical assistance to those seeking more funding for their organization or agency.

Sommer Sibilly-brown, Caribbean Regional coordinator

Sommer Angelique Sibilly-Brown Sommer Angelique Sibilly-Brown is the DSCA Caribbean Regional Coordinator. In this capacity she serves as the company’s project manager and liaison for organizations and projects throughout the Caribbean including those in the Virgin Islands and Puerto Rico. 

Mrs. Brown is an expert in Foods System Development, Food Security, Agriculture, and Systems Change. She believes collaboration, partnership and the creation of a shared vision is the only way we are able to rectify some of the seemingly insurmountable issues that plague our community, especially as it pertains to food and food production. She strives to bridge the gap between food producers and entities in the public and private sectors.  Her vision is to aid in the revitalization of agriculture in the Virgin Islands and unite local food producers, local businesses, and local consumers to create a sustainable network of local food options. 

In the past, she was the 1st Americorp Vista and served at the Boys and Girls Club of the Virgin Islands where her efforts were focused on building the organization's capacity to adequately meet the needs of the youth they were serving through a community needs assessment. She also served as Guardian at Litum for the CASA program and has worked for the Department of Education, the University of the Virgin Islands Cooperative Extension Service as A Program Specialist and site coordinator for their Children Youth and Families at Risk program in Luis E. Brown Villas in the Miami/Dade County area.

Sommer was born on the island of St. Thomas to Angela & David Sibilly. She is married to Stephen Vaughn Brown Jr. and is a stepmother to Ajani Brown. Her families’ unconditional love and support keeps her grounded and allows her to chase her dreams.
